Clubs & Athletics
St. Augustine provides a variety of extracurricular activities that promote the holistic development of our students.

The Sports Program is certainly our most popular after-school activity with over 50% of the student body participating in a team sport. Ten different soccer teams represent the St. Augustine Dolphins from elementary, middle and high school along with five basketball teams and three volleyball teams. Chess is also a very popular sport and our students have strongly represented the school in several nationwide and regional chess tournaments.

Other extra-curricular activities include guitar classes, prayer groups for elementary school students (Amigos de Jesus y Maria) and Prayer & Service groups for Middle and High School students. Middle and High School students can also participate in Student Government.

Besides sports, most students in grades six to twelve are involved in service clubs. Operation Smile, Un Techo para mi Pais, Club Teleton and a Volunteer Saturday English Program all provide our students with the opportunity to serve and learn from others.

A select group of students is given the opportunity to represent the school internationally by participating in AASCA (Association of American Schools of Central America) events throughout the Central American region. The school has participated in Leadership Conferences, Knowledge Bowl Tournaments and Sports Tournaments. Our students also participate in HACIA Democracy, a Model OAS Summit.
