Accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) since 2012.

St. Augustine Preparatory School offers its students the opportunity to graduate with both the Nicaraguan High School Diploma (Bachillerato Nicaragüense) and a U.S.-accredited high school diploma. Since its founding in 2001, St. Augustine has been accredited by the Nicaraguan Ministry of Education (Ministerio de Educación, MINED; https://www.mined.gob.ni/). In 2012, the school also received U.S. accreditation through the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC; https://www.neasc.edu.ni). The school expects all students to pursue and graduate with both the Nicaraguan High School Diploma (Bachillerato Nicaragüense) and a U.S.-accredited high school diploma, enabling them to apply to colleges and universities around the world. 

 

New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC)

The New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) is an independent, voluntary, nonprofit membership organization which partners with over 1500 public, independent, and international schools in the US and worldwide.

 

Founded in 1885, NEASC was the first school accrediting agency in the United States. Since then, it has developed a long-standing tradition of promoting school improvement across the six New England states and in more than 100 countries worldwide. As a globally recognized standard of excellence, NEASC accreditation attests to a school’s high quality and integrity.

AASCA is a non-profit organization serving American-style international schools in Central America. AASCA fosters collaboration and growth among member schools through a diverse range of academic, athletic, and cultural events throughout the school year, promoting multicultural understanding and a commitment to high-quality education for all students.

 

Tri-Association

Tri-Association is an alliance uniting regional associations of American schools in Central America, Colombia-Caribbean, and Mexico, providing a comprehensive framework for educational support and resource sharing. Through their collaborative efforts, they enrich educational opportunities for students across different regions, fostering a broader perspective and understanding of the world.

 

National Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP)
