Catholic Faith Formation

Religious education is an integral part of the school’s curriculum and student life at St. Augustine Preparatory School. All students receive religion classes between two and three times a week and from first grade on, attend weekly mass. The Religion Department assures that the school lives out the liturgical calendar by organizing activities such as retreats, Creation Week, an Advent campaign and the Stations of the Cross during lent. The school chapel is open during the entire school day and students as well as faculty members are free to visit at any time. Special activities related to the Catholic Church include the organization of school delegations to World Youth Day.

As a faith-based institution, the school reserves the right to use religion as a hiring criterion for selected positions, as permitted by law and consistent with the mission of the institution. People of all faiths are welcome to join our school community.
